Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing this formal complaint to raise serious concerns regarding the harassment and unethical recovery practices being carried out by the Pocket League Recovery Team.
Despite acknowledging a pending amount on their platform, I am being continuously harassed by their recovery agents through aggressive phone calls and messages. More alarmingly, they have begun contacting members of my family and other individuals from my personal contact list without my permission, causing embarrassment, mental distress, and a clear violation of my right to privacy.
This behavior is not only morally and ethically wrong, but it is also a violation of my consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and possibly the Information Technology Act, 2000, due to misuse of personal data.
Their conduct includes:
Repeated, threatening, or humiliating calls and messages.
Contacting third parties (friends/family) who are unrelated to the loan matter.
Using intimidation tactics to force repayment, even when communication from my side has been respectful and cooperative.
