I was suddenly told by my company to work from home and for that I need a high speed internet. I had Silver plan of Jio fiber in which the speed is upto 100 mbps promised by them. But I was getting only 30-40 mbps download and upload is only 4 to 7 mbps. For that when I called customer care first and complained on 19.03.2020 at around 10:30 am, I didn’t receive any solution for that. I called again in customer care and asked if there is any voucher or top up to increase the speed, Agent said, No. and when I asked to upgrade the plan then they said first this plan will expire on 01/04/2020 and then I can Upgrade. Asking for an immediate solution, their superior Jayshree, told me to activate it from Jio App. I did the same. I recharged for extra RS.1532.84 so that I can work properly as this was the question of my job. My Gold plan is activated but unfortunately I’m not getting any benefit of that. Validity of the plan has started immediately but benefits will start after Silver plan expires. So my Emergency requirement stays the same. In addition to that I lost my money as well because plans validity has already started. I had called Jio Fibre customer care around 5 times in last 48 hours and spoke to atleast 7-8 agents including their superiors (Jayshree -2, Sohail, Rohit (4-5 times). Everytime I’m explaining, pleading and shouting about my situation and no one is understanding. They sent 2 engineers to check speed who were not educated enough to resolve the speed and LAN issue. Now also, speed on Wifi is 46 mbps and on LAN is 77 mbps. and this is hampering my work. I can lose my salary for all these days and even can lose my job as well. Finally, their Punjab customer service head Rohit called me. there was a ray of hope. But even after chasing him for last 24 hours, i got no solution about my complaint. I’m feeling harassed by Jio Fibre company and really want to file a case against them as their policies and rules are not at all justified. I lost my money and moreover, neither i’m getting any benefits for that, nor I’m getting full validity.
