Wish to express my distress over a shocker that I received today to see my school going sons mobile (9160067824) bill which came as Rs.942 meaning the plan has been upgraded to 799 from 199 and additionally being a secondary number. Presuming if that happened by an error, how come that this no. 9160067824, is not informed with offers such as amazon prime and netflix etc., and importantly with two additional numbers to be included as a part of billing?
I have 3 numbers on my name:
9052888835 (primary)- 199 plan
9160067824- 199
9160011159 – 399
As I was receiving messages from airtel saying 199 is not valid anymore, I was asked by the Airtel store folks to call up 121 and express interest to retain the same plan without any upgrade which I duly followed. And Boom!!!, I get this shocker today. I also got my 140 GB data erased for two of my numbers because this has been taken as a new request and hence no reversal…seriously?!!
I was contemplating on 799 plan since I have three numbers but haven’t really made up my mind yet. I now contemplate to port my numbers to a different provider altogether.
Expecting legitimate answers for my concerns below:
Why was my 140+140 GB data erased from two numbers- 9100067824 and 9052888835?
Why was i not informed about the change …me being the primary number?
The IVR has made it extremely impossible to a human voice, and even when we get a hold of someone luckily for you, you are misinterpreted the way it happened to me and additionally, if the call gets hung, you have to tell your sob story to a new person over and over again. another 20 mns in the air..I am a human for God’s sake, I have to work for a living and cant be talking to airtel all the time…I would have made many many calls , you can verify if you wish to.
My usual bill is Rs.242 for the above two numbers, why is it now 661 and 942?
Why am I not informed of the offers for the plan and Amazon and Netflix benefits presuming it is changed by me? I am the primary number- 9052888835 by the way?
How can you change the plan for a secondary number without informing the primary number?- all my bills are paid through a single account and on a single day- please do check history to verify.
Request you to dwell into my concern and reply me with a resolution. Have been a loyal Airtel customer for the past many years and in that due regard, expecting you to provide me a solution. I cannot be paying you 661+942 in any case as I have neither used it nor asked for it. If you are asking me to pay, it will my Airtel sucking my sweat and blood from me, it’s hard earned money for me too as it means to you. I am very upset with the situation and wish to port all my three numbers to a different provider stating my issue if I do not hear back from you..
