My Phone Back cover was damaged. I went to to airtel store. I told them my phone back cover is damaged and i have airtel secure. One plus is charging Rs 2300. Shall i give my phone for airtel secure , it will save my money.
Executive told me that my phone is under airtel secure and it will be beneficial to give for insurance. I applied for that and on 13th July executive came and pick my phone. I was not aware that how long does it take to repair. SO i asked him. He said mostly it took one week. During lock down everything is based and its essential for the work from home, Still i thought it is wise if i can save my money. I had given my phone.
I kept checking on Airtel app. Then i started sending mail. As 121 no option to reach the customer care executive.
I called the person who called me to pick the phone. HE told me to call one assist. I called one assist they told plan is airtel secure, so they only can update the status.
I was frustrated, 10 days has gone and no update was seen. I visited airtel secure and requested them to return my phone. They said they are sending mail and will update me, i patiently waited and again i called them after 7 days. They informed that since it is china spare and not available. I have to wait for 12 more days to get it repaired. I requested them that i have asked for return and doesn’t wanted to wait a single day. They said sir your phone is in service department and they have opened all its spare.It was treating that They cannot commit if there will more scratches and phone will be in its position as i had given. I was so frustrated i dont to wait and i made my mind to get my phone back, And for that too they informed that i have to wait 10-12 days. For returning my phone they need 12 days? that too without repair (They are sitting on my phone for already 20+ days.). I told them what is the guarantee will you give in writing that i will get my phone in 12 days. He said we cannot guarantee only try. Also they asked me to pay the cost of repair that is 2300 rupees. As customer has to pay 10% of insured value and it is less than that. But they will give me one more chance to claim in next 4 months :)) . If it has to be paid by me only and takes 30 days and they threaten weather it may have more scratches. I dont have words for this pathetic services.
I have been a loyal customer so called platinum customer. More than six months i have been patiently waiting for them to improve the network services. I dont get any network in the middle of town. They inform that due to unavailability of tower this issue is there and again they are working on it. No resolution even now.
I am asking myself why i have been so connected with Airtel and not moved on and taken better network area.
Seriously had the worst customer service from Airtel. Never thought of the same from AIRTEL.
Now its time to get my damaged phone back and leave this brand forever.
Best part is the emails which i get every time same without any empathy or understanding my issue.
And if they didnot have the part why they were quietly sitting on my phone when repeatedly i am asking for returning my phone since 20th July.
