Phone locked fraud by Flipkart Smart Upgrade Plan.

Text of Complaint by Supreme Datta:

My name is Supreme Datta and I had purchased a Realme X7 Pro 5G by full cash in hand of amount Rs 29,999 with IMEI No 1:= 869829050550211 and IMEI No 2:= 869829050550203 respectively. I purchased the phone on 14th March 2021 i.e. 1 and a half years ago from now on from a local shop named “Mobile Hut” which is located in my locality and has address of 31/5 ,Ramcharan Sett Road ,Ramrajatala,Howrah-711104,West Bengal.The shop owner’s name is Siraj and the contact numbers of the shop are 9477727786/9432500786 respectively.The Shop’s GSTIN is : 19ABUPH1100K1ZN respectively.

I was working with my phone as usual in my office as I am an employee of TCS. But Suddenly and Unfortunately,I received a popup from Flipkart on 30th August,2022 around 12:30 pm while working in my office under a “Smart Upgrade Plan Banner” that my Realme Phone has been locked as a payment has not been made during the stipulated time. I do not understand why I got this popup and my phone got locked as I purchased the phone from the above-mentioned shop by making full payment of Rs 29,999 in cash dated 14/03/2021 i.e.1 and a half year ago. I Sincerely request you to take necessary actions/steps regarding this scam as I am a genuine customer who purchased this phone by making full payment in cash not from any Flipkart Scheme but by cash from the shop mentioned above.

I am attaching proof of my paid bill with all the transaction details made by me to this shop and the popup received on my phone. I hope you understand my situation and help me get my phone fixed as it is an integral part of my daily work schedule for my IT job at TCS. Despite Visiting the Shop several times with the payment bill as proof and the popup in my phone,they are not taking any necessary steps to pay the remaining due or get my phone fixed .They are not even entertaining any of my requests to replace my phone or give me a full refund.The huge amount of denials led me to force a complaint against the shop in the Consumer Forum Cell and also in the local police station.

I hope you understand my Situation and take necessary steps to fix this lock as my phone is an integral part of my IT job at TCS.
