Our PG owner is very arrogant and is asking for 15rs p.u. for electricity. He has given 2 floors on rent and has a single electricity meter. There are total 17 girls in both floors due to which the entire consumption is more than 1000 unit due to which cost per unit increases. Instead of putting different meters he says he will be diving the total bill with total consumption which costs around 17rs p.u. and to show his big hearted nature he says he will pay 2rs p.u. and rest 15 should be paid by us. We have to pay the bill even for that electricity which we don’t consume. We wanted him to reduce the rent so that we can pay the bill but he is not agreeing. And after including everything our total reaches to 11 – 12k per month excluding food. When we first came he said the rent includes the electricity bill but out of nowhere he is now asking for the bill amount. We are just students studying here in Pune and the way he is increasing the amount is not feasible for us. In the mid term he knows we won’t find any PG so he is sure that we will not leave and thus he is forcing all such costs on us. Please do help us please
