My due date was today (June 03, 2023). The account is not past due and the day has not yet ended, but the collection agent sent a text blast to my contacts shaming and humiliating me. Sending threats to use my pictures and post them on social media. He even commented on my Facebook account shaming and humiliating words to me. The collection agent is not yet satisfied and did not even check my account if it was already paid or not at 4 pm. 4:45 pm He sent a text blast again shaming me to my contacts which I did not give authorization to be contacted. AGAIN, my account was not past due and this is how they handle my account. Can’t the government do anything about this kind of company? allowing to have a business that is more than 12% annum interest way above the allowed interest by the law? I borrowed 4,500 and received only 2,700 in 7 days I have to return the whole amount of 3,500.00 in just 7 days they got an interest of 1,800. 40% interest in 7 days. Highway robbery. AGAIN, NOT PAST DUE and they harass me and my contacts from morning till 5 pm.
