My experience with Pepperfry Dommasandra was nothing short of a disappointment. From start , the entire process left me frustrated and regretful of my decision to shop with them.
To begin with, their website is an absolute nightmare to navigate. It’s cluttered with excessive advertisements, pop-ups, and irrelevant recommendations, making it nearly impossible to find what you’re actually looking for. The search function is unreliable, often yielding irrelevant results, and the filters hardly work as intended.
So we visited the store met this gentleman Gautham, apparently the store owner. He understood the requirements and showed me a quote of 71,000 on their TV at the store and promised a wonderful discount of 10,000. I paid the amount & placed the order. To my shock i find that he has omitted an item from the original list of things i had shortlisted. Called him to check on this and they also behaved as thought they saw it for the first time. Now they started asking me to pay for the missing item from the new list, this was ridiculous since if i pay what they are asking me it will end up to be close to 71,000 then where is the huge discount which drew me to buy from that shop in the first place. The owner is not at all Professional in the way he deals, before the order got confirmed he used to message day and night, after the payment i got a message saying we work only 11 to 8 🙂
Things just went south after that, they wont cancel the order & they are not bothered to deliver the products i paid for. My 61,000 is with Mr Gautam and he is least bit bothered to even call and let me know what is the status of the product nor does he have the decency to cancel the order. 11th August i placed the order and today is 22nd August, Mr Gautam is happily conducting his business. I tried reaching out to their customer service, but the response I received was vague and unhelpful, leaving me in the dark about the status of my order.
Also i understood from the customer care that Mr Gautam raised the invoice but not in my name, there is no record of my order in Pepperfry system. So basically it looks like a case of cheating or fraud. I am attaching the invoice and the Gpay transaction for the same.
The overall experience with Pepperfry Dommasandra was a complete letdown.
