Text of Complaint by Ali Khan:

Dear Mr. Dar / Mr. Moondhra,

Mr. Moondhra is marked in CC of every email and just observing this tamasha you should feel ashamed of yourself by troubling a firm which is led by a female entrepreneur in India. We expect support from achievers like you, Payu team lead by Mr. Dar is doing all the communication.

Our payment settlement of Rs 43000 is stuck with Payumoney for the last 10 Months. I don’t wanna show a candle to Sun, RBI has Payumoney in 2023 to Reapply for Payment Gateway Aggregator License as per the article of Economic Times printed on 12/1/2023, Payumoney is itself stuck with Compliance issues with RBI.

Have marked CC on this email for support to release our settlement from payumoney to Other Payment Gateway Providers in India, Media Print & Digital , Hight Court & Ministry of Information Technology & RBI.

Below are descriptive points of our unlawful hold of settlement by PayuMoney

– 10 Months back we had received communication from Payumoney that after 210 Days our settlement will be released since the account is terminated from Payumoney, we said okay what is the harm to wait, we waited patiently

– After 210 Days when we contacted Payu and to our surprise they asked to do ReKYC? It does not make sense if Payu has told that in 210 Days settlement will be done, however we gave all documents and successfully completed the ReKYC

– Then just before releasing the settlement, we received communication from Payu Money that Cyber Cell has asked for details, I have confirmed with Cyber cell they have just asked for details of Payu Account, There is no written direction / order to hold any money / settlement.

– Without having any Legal Authority / having any Mandate from the courts , Payu money has hold our settlement until we can clean chit money from Cyber cell will not be released

– If Payumoney has any written Mandate from the Court which is the only authority to block any financial amount, Cyber cell is just for inquiry and they have no jurisdiction / power to hold any settlement.

Now let’s review this from another angle of easy money accumulation on settlement hold on any basis of Merchants.

For e.g. if Payumoney is holding settlement of merchants for any reason and normally merchants don’t have this kind of education and legal knowledge background I I have, they just make few calls & emails to Payu and forget it.

If Payu does this to 10000 Merchants in a year and with Average settlement Hold of Rs 100000 = So Scam amount earned by Payumoney will be 10000 Merchants x Rs 100000 = 100 Crores?

Guys our settlement could just be the tip of the iceberg, this has to be researched external audit of payumoney india books needs to be done so that it can be reconciled how many merchants they have hold in last 10 Years and how can Payumoney earn interest on that money and reinvest / Send to Founder outside India.

I leave above to be reviewed / printed / escalated by respective CC marked in this email, we have 2 reminders to Payumoney before sending this email to go Public about it, but the arrogance of Payumoney of not even replying to our last 2 emails of settlement release shows, Ke Merchant kya kar lega, Payu is big brand she wil make few calls & emails and forget.

India has changed now education is there at grass root level, thanks to Indian Government, Media & Courts.

We will keep on sending reminders to all Marked in CC including Payu Netherlands Office & Government

Again we just wish to get our settlement and close this, we have no personal or professional issues with payumoney, we respect payu as payment gateway.

Regards,

Ali Khan
