I have transfered Rs500 from my bank to UPI lite for various transactions. On 27/2/23, i have made an attempt to pay Rs 124 to auto driver. Unfortunately it is only indicating “processing the payment”. This processing indication was longer period and ultimately on the compulsion of auto driver , I have to use GOOGLE pay service to pay the amount.
On verification of paytm account,it is found that Rs124 has been deducted from my paytm UPI Lite and transaction status is showing as PENDING. To stop the transaction, I have sent
mail to paytm and found no reply. Contacted customer care and they carry on insisting to contact my bank and receiving bank only.
Once the amount has been transferred from my bank and deposited in the paytm Lite , I have felt there is no logic in contacting my bank. Customer care is not ready to register the complaint also.
