Hi.. My complaint is against Paytm Postpaid Fraud and threatening behaviour towards the customers. I used Paytm Postpaid after reading the entire “Terms & Conditions” which mentions that we will get an EMI option between 1st to 7th of every month to convert our transactions into EMI. Based upon that I used it and waited for EMI option till 7th of next month. However, it never reflects and tried to connect with the customer care number but it was not connecting to live representative and neither through the chat as it only has automated responses.
Eventually had to make a partial payment to not to miss the due date. However, after that the representatives stared calling me several times in a day with multiple numbers. I told them my entire concern to every single rep and asked them to raise my complaint to provide an EMI option to make my payments and also the complaint number, but they did not provide any resolution and said they do not have EMI option. They just kept forcing me to pay my entire amount in one go else threatening me that they will go to my home and taking legal action and just spoiling my Cibil score. This is RIDICULOUS, I used it as per terms & conditions, I made all possible options to reach out to customer care which they did not have, I raised my complaint but they did not register and eventually also did not give me EMi option. Instead of they are still giving me threats of legal action through multiple calls and WhatsApp messages and confirmed they have tagged my cibil with non performing asset, though I’m still making my timely payments on due date. Please DO NOT use this service. Pathetic experience. Please take some action against Paytm postpaid. They are giving me continuous THREAT even after making payments.
