I was scanning a merchant’s qr code for payment but an unknown upi address named cashfree popped out and later found out that wasn’t the merchant’s upi where I was supposed to make the payment after throughly checking and verifying again both the qr code available there.. Which i assume as a third party app spyware or any other cyber crime act.No support from the payment gateway (phonepe) as well as from my banks side..bank officials concluded it as there was no transactions whereas i provided the transaction id..My amount was not that much but i don’t want this to happen again with anyone else
