I booked a 2 way flight from Mumbai to Durgapur and Durgapur to Mumbai from flipkart. And payed an amount of 6930 against that booking. So one flight costed me a money of Rs 3465 as fair was same for both the flight at that time. Due to some schedule change from airlines end, my flight from Mumbai to Durgapur is cancelled and airlines has initiated full refund of 3790(as received a letter in email) and they provided me a proof too for the same. When I called flight about this cancellations they told they will refund the money once they received the same. But after 4 days I received a mail from flipkart that a refund of Rs 2915 is refunded against the cancellation of flight. After that I raised a question to Flipkart team saying ‘as there was no fault from my end in cancellations, why I am going to pay the difference money of 550 rupee for no fault of mine.
They told me in response of above question that if one of off your flight is cancelled from airlines end the instant discount amount that is provided will fully be deducted from customer side. I asked them for the written statement regarding this and they can’t provide me with this written statement in their cancellations policy. I told them that if one flight is cancelled from airlines end the kindly deduct half of the instant discount from the fee. And as
Thus this is an appeal to the court to kindly stop this kind of fraud thing of flipkart.
