I want to report a potential cybercrime incident. I have been receiving text messages from unknown numbers, where the sender initially requests 5 minutes of my time and then offers me a job. They ask me to complete a small task and promise to pay me an amount ranging from $100 to $200. However, their intention becomes clear when they start asking for larger sums of money.
After gaining my trust, they ask me to join an Instagram channel but demand a prepaid task that requires a payment of $1000 or more. This behavior strongly indicates that they are involved in a scam.
It is important to be aware of such scams and protect oneself from cybercrime. I would like to report this incident to the appropriate authorities so that action can be taken against these individuals.
