I received a message in the morning that said “Respectedteachers
you have passed our interview, can get 8000 Rs/Day. Please contact to discuss detail:https://wa.me/639614260927
ThankingyouHeadMasterVREDUG”. As I had applied for a bunch of part time teaching jobs, I went forward with it and messaged the whatsapp number. They informed me “Hello, we are a FLIPKART investment company that cooperates with Amazon. We are urgently recruiting part-time/full-time employees with a daily salary of about 1000-5000Rs.
If you want to do this part-time job, you need at least 10-30 minutes of free time every day. Join us now and you will be able to get 50Rs allowance instantly.” I was a little suspicious since I thought it was a teaching job at first. Anyway, I went ahead and texted the telegram account they asked me to, who was supposedly my mentor. She then gave me my first task, and I earned 100rs. But the second task required me to pay a certain amount. I paid 1000rs, and started submitting the orders. The last order required me to pay extra since the funds were insufficient. Then, I got my money back along with the salary. Then for the third task, I paid 5000 rupees, and then the 3rd order required me to pay 6000 rupees extra, which I didnt have in my account. Since I was not completely sure about getting it back, I did not want to borrow it either. Now I’m stuck and they won’t refund the money claiming that I haven’t completed the task. Firstly, they can keep my salary money if I don’t complete my task but its their responsibility to give me back my money that I put in, only because they assured me that it’ll be refunded. Secondly, I was not aware of the huge amounts these orders were gonna cost me. If the recharge amount is fixed, they should only give us tasks within that amount. I’ve contacted them several times but they aren’t willing to return the money.
