Text of Complaint by Manohar Shinde:

I received offer from Tata Sky through email to get free Tata Sky Bing+ set top box free if I pay full years subscription. I confirmed by calling customer care that the offer is still on before paying Rs 10,800/- through card on 23rd March, 2020. On follow up with customer care since I did not receive upgrade, time & again, I was assured customer care that I will receive said set top box.
Today, 22nd April, 2021, I was intimated that neither I will receive set top box nor money will be returned.
This amounts to giving false promises & cheating since Tata Sky refuses to return money.
