on 26/06/2022 I signed on for 1months subscription for a dating site named Meet Fife Singles. Due to a mistake either by them or myself, I was charged for 1 year instead. I clicked on the payment receipt to amend the subscription but was met with a network error screen of which I screenshot. Due to this, I entered the site, to find an alternative way of contacting the company, and explained the problem. After a day they contacted me, to offer a £33.19 refund only, yet I had been charged £107.89. They have totally ignored my email requests for a full refund, by trying to hide behind their terms and conditions, even though their site was faulty at the time of payment.
I need help on this matter as this company operates under the name Cintilet Ltd based in Dublin and therefore not covered by UK law.
They operate in the UK, they have to operate under UK law, one other point as they are based in Dublin, they are in the Republic of Ireland, operating under Irish and consequently European Consumer protection laws, which funnily enough generally match UK Consumer laws.
