Dear Sir,
I have ported my number 8072347427 from Jio to Airtel on 19/06/2020. I have recharged with a package of Rs. 449 which has an allowance of 2 GB data/day and unlimited calls and messages for 56 days. However, since recharge the outgoing calls are not functioning. I have visited local Airtel shop ( pincode 635601) and reported the issue almost everyday for 5 days with no proper response. The Manager was just ignoring my WhatsApp call to even discuss about the issue. I have therefore raised about this issue to @airtelindia in Twitter and they have been in touch since. I was informed that the issue will be addressed by 30/06/2020. However, the issue is not resolved yet and I’m only getting a standard response of ‘ we are on it and it will be resolved in little more time’. I have queried about compensation for which there was no response. I am extremely frustrated that during this lockdown period most of the important matters are dealt through telephone communication and here am disadvantaged with no outgoing calls. I would like this matter to be investigated as in why I am not able to make outgoing calls, the lacklustre customer service of the manager Mr. Sathish ( 9677121222), poor general service from Airtel in rectifying an issue/s and restore a full normal service at the earliest. I would also like to know the compensation options for the inconvenience/loss that have been meted to me so far.
