Text of Complaint by Rahul Pandey:

I have received wrong ‘Iphone 11 white color 128 gb’ instead of my original order of ‘Iphone13 green color 128 gb’.

My concerns are as below:

1.) Order was placed on 22nd sept 2022, based on your website’s listing and commitment to deliver it by 23rd sept 2022. I needed the phone urgently, since my current usage phone been giving trouble, however I got the late delivery i.e. by 25th Sept 2022. Flipkart takes no responsibility of such delayed delivery against their false commitment.

2.) On the evening of 25th Sept 2022, the delivery boy suggested to meet up at a location near my place to deliver the package, since he was loaded with other deliveries and since I needed the phone urgently, I met him at his prescribed location, across a road side.

On meeting up I faced two issues:
2.1) The package shown to me had someone else’s name called: Mr. Omkar Parab. I refuted to take the package saying it isn’t mine, however delivery boy scanned the QRcode on package and it showed my name. Seemingly it was wrong package marking mistake done by Flipkart’s logistics team.

2.2) I had opted for OBD (Open Box Delivery) while placing the order. However the Delivery boy showed me that he didn’t have any records at his end showing as OBD delivery for my package, hence i didn’t even get to securely get the package checked by him whether the product actually is of mine or not.
Since I needed the product urgently and the package was already late by 2 days (25th sept 2022), I was forced in the situation to take the package delivery at my own risk.

3.) Upon sharing the OTP at my own risk (in middle of the road), and for this wrong package, being devoid of option of OBD, to my dismay I found that the phone inside the box is actually Iphone11 and not what I had 0rdered i.e. Iphone13.

4.) I made multiple attempts to reach out to the Flipkart’s customer care by chat and calls, and finally could register a complaint. However the complaint taken by Flipkart team shows as Refund request, though I don’t want to get refund. I actually need the Phone, as per my order. And my expectation is very much inline with the replacement policy mentioned on the product page. I am very well eligible for replacement against the wrongly delivered product.

After further mutiple followups through chat and calls made to Flipkart customer service, I have so far received no resolution and I am left here with no phone as of now, troubled and irridated with standard responses given by Flipkart team. I had expected urgent phone delivery on 23rd Sept 2022 and today it’s already 28th Sept 2022. I m being asked to wait till 7th October 2022 for getting the resolution, further with no clarity on when I shall be actually getting the replacement. Even the wrong product of Iphone11 has not yet been picked up from me.

Kindly expedite and resolve this issue by delivering me correct product i.e. Iphone13 as per my order, latest by 29th September 2022. I m in dire need of phone.
