issue I encountered while using Paytm’s ONDC service, specifically during the process of placing a food order. I am seeking immediate assistance and a resolution to the problem, as well as a refund for the deducted amount.
To provide you with a clear understanding of the situation, I will outline the sequence of events that occurred:
Order Placement: I successfully selected the desired food items and proceeded to the payment page.
Payment Method: On the payment page, I selected PhonePe as my preferred payment method.
Redirected to PhonePe: As expected, I was redirected to the PhonePe payment page, where I proceeded to make the payment using UPI. The transaction was successful, and I received a transaction number as confirmation.
Redirected Back to Paytm ONDC: Following the successful payment, I was automatically redirected back to the Paytm ONDC page.
Error and Order Failure: Unfortunately, at this stage, I encountered an error, and my order did not go through. Despite the failed order, the amount of Rs 1054/- was deducted from my bank account.
I immediately attempted to seek resolution for this issue by reaching out to Paytm for assistance. However, I encountered difficulties in finding appropriate channels to connect with ONDC services at the end of the first station level. Furthermore, when attempting to contact PhonePe customer service, I was advised to contact Paytm directly for assistance with the matter.
Given the circumstances, I kindly request your immediate attention to the following matters:
Refund: I sincerely request a refund of the deducted amount of Rs 1054/-, as the order was not successfully placed due to an error on the Paytm ONDC page.
