i got a text from drashtee shah (+91 76220 25906) asking if i’m interested in a data filling job. i thought why not? i’ll give this a shot. after providing some details, i got the login link and when i logged in i got a warning from my macbook saying that this website isn’t secure and we don’t advise you to use it or your data could be lost/hacked, so my mac blocked the website for my security. i showed this to her and she didn’t help me at all.
then i searched optibase on google and found many fraudulent complaints against the company. i further sent the screenshots of the complaints to her and she blocked me. although, i tried contacting other employees of the company, they never responded. yesterday i got a call from anand desai (+91 8154-908288) demanding and threatening me for 6900 for not completing the work. he never cared to listen and just was threatening to file a case and because so much was going on at that moment, i panicked and payed two transactions of 3450 (total 6900) to 7096829488 through google pay.
after the payment i got another call from +91 7622-031698 demanding for more money. he said if i don’t pay 6 month deposit of 41,400, then i would have to show up in court and pay 3.45 lakhs. anand desai confirmed that they won’t ask for any more money after i pay 6900, but i regret believing him and got scammed. i contacted google pay and my bank to raise a dispute but i don’t know if anything will work. there’s so much to this and i don’t know how to even put it into words. they blocked my phone number right after and i’m trying to call through other phones but still they don’t pick up.
if they don’t return my money back by today, i will file a report to the cyber crime police department. please help me get my money back and i hope me and the people who got scammed gets justice by getting their money back or something. please take action. this is so unfair people like them deserve punishment for scamming and taking advantage of innocent people just looking at opportunities to earn some extra money, but instead they take our saved money by threatening us. i paid please contact them and tell them to give my two transactions of 3450 back sent on july 28th 2021.
