Geniusguild by Varsha Mam is an online tuition platform…. I contacted them for online tuition classes and sent my resume . After few days they said that my resume have been selected by a parent for their daughter’s online tuition who is in 8th class for maths subject. They asked me to call them and I did so. A man picked up the call and told me the same thing and said that he’ll connect me with the parents on conference call so that I can discuss the timing of the class and I talked to the lady on conference call and we discussed the time and the man said that I’ll recieve the fee in advance i.e 6000 directly into my account for which I have to share the UPI details Directly to the parents . And he also said that I have to register first on their website in order to get the number of parents and study material to teach the student. And as they asked me I did the registration and on the time of registration I paid 472 rs. And after that before commencing the class the parents asked me for documentation copy. I said I don’t have any documentation copy so contacted the company they said I’ll have to pay 10% commission then they’ll give me documentation copy and then I’ll recieve anvance fee and I can start to teach . Firstly I argued that it’s not mentioned in terms and conditions that I’ll have to pay the commission in advance. It only stated that the company charges a fare 10% commission on fee for the first month. Then they say without payment of commission I’ll not be able to proceed further and they also said it is refundable which was also mentioned in terms and conditions. So I paid the 600 rupees also when I asked them they said that they’ve not received the amount and it is the process it’ll take 24 hours to settle and as soon as it’ll settle they’ll ask the parents to pay my fee and start the classes so I waited for 24 hours . After 24 hours I did not get any message from them when asked them said it’ll take 3 to 4 working days and if I’m in hurry I cans send an email for refund. After waiting for 2 days I sent an email to the mail id that they’ve sent me for the refund and still I did not get any reply from them till now.
