Text of Complaint by Nabi Basha:

Received a price drop alert message from +917990313683 for this Teclast Android Tablet with a link on 23/07/2020. I had visited the site by clicking the link and felt the specs and price looks ok for me, then I have ordered the item by paying the money of Rs 2499/- through ICICI netbanking through PayU link. Later I have noticed that there is no my Orders link to check my order details, status and other details on the web page. immediately I felt this could be a fraud site.

I have received a order confirmation ( Order ID: SGD1248)mail from helpsimplegadget@gmail.com, which looks some what odd looking the mail received from gmail id. Here also I doubted that mail should not receive from gmail.

After few min I have received a message from PayTM stating ” Your Payment (ID-339411308)of Rs 2499.0 for Vicebear.in is successful.for Queries on your payment visit : http//pmny.in/FI6L8HEhtoC). Here I am strongly doubting that this site is a fraud site why becasue I have paid the amount through ICICI net banking but reeived a message form Paytm. So I felt I was cheated by this site.

I tried to call the number from which I have received a price drop alert message but unfortunately the call could not connected.

Today i.e on 27/07/2020 I have checket the site but it is not working. Please try help in getting my money back.

Thank You

  1. For all consumers who make payment through Credit Card, there is a safety feature. Whenever you feel you are cheated, raise a dispute and ask your Credit Card Bank to Charge Back the amount. Give the complaint in writting to the bank in their prescribed form.
Even I was similarly cheated by simplegadget.in
I gave a notice to simplegadget.in who called and stated that they shall not be able to deliver the goods at my place and so the payment shall be returned back in 4-5 working days. I insisted them to give it to me in writing. They promised that within few minutes I shall receive their mail which was never received.
So I immediately raised the dispute and ask my banker for charge back and also filed a complaint at the Cyber Crime.
My banker supported me and immediately charged back the amount and within 4-5 days, the amount of Rs. 2,499/- was received back by me.
So quick action in the matter could save you from getting cheated by such online frauds.
If you do not have knowledge, take advice of a good lawyer near you.
