I was added to a random WhatsApp group by a group of people offering Google review tasks. They promised to pay ₹40 for each completed task. I completed 2-3 tasks and received ₹120. Then, they added me to a Telegram group where more tasks were available. One of the tasks involved an initial investment of ₹2,000, which I did, and I received ₹2,700 in return.
Later, they provided a bigger task, requiring an investment of ₹5,000. They claimed to be from Blusteak Media Pvt. Ltd., so I trusted them and invested the amount. Afterward, they asked me to invest ₹18,000, which I did, and eventually, ₹54,000. Finally, they requested ₹1,50,000, but I ran out of funds. They insisted that I wouldn’t be able to withdraw my money unless I invested the ₹1,50,000.
I’m extremely worried and have reported the issue to the cyber police. It’s been almost 11 days, and they continue to pressure me to pay the ₹1,50,000. This incident began on September 20, 2024, and I am still unable to recover my money.
I am attaching screenshots of the main culprits. Please take action as soon as possible.
