Few days ago, I got a DM on telegram from a girl name Lakshmi Ahuja, telegram username @Lakshm885Ahuja about job recruitment. The message don’t have any details about work. Its only mentioned there is an online job. Daily pay will be there. On that day I ignored the message & don’t even open the chat i just read it on the notification. Few hours later, she again message me-can you reply now ? You are free? I again ignored.
Today she again texted me can I share you the details. This time, I replied her yes, plz. She replied me-
Before that,
In which year you born?
What you are doing?
Your qualifications ? I forget the third question.
After this message, I feel something fishy. I told her first share me about the job details. For what you are looking for ? She shared me the poster kind of image from Think People. It was mentioned there about the job which is online assistance – rate, review & comment. 3-4hrs of work & daily pay. I again doubted on that image. Because it is not authentic and anyone can easily design it through any editing app. That’s why I took the screenshot of her profile.
Also she asked me there is a need for basic english. Is that okay for you? I replied her- Yaa, it is okay for me.
She again asked me my birth year ?
This time I was sure it is some fraudulent because she’s only asking about my birth year and not any details. After thinking for some time, I replied her wrong birth year.
After my reply, all the chat just vanished. Her account was not on my feeds. I try to search, although I found the account but the profile picture was not there. I message her but she don’t even receiving it even after being online.
After that, I searched the way to file complaint against such scam & I end up being here.
This is my story. I am aware and cautious from starting that’s why I’m safe. But these kind of scam can happen with anyone. So please be aware, be safe.
