I wanted to work for an online part time job for students below 18, on the shine app. The company named Excellent Data Solutions contacted me on Gmail. They said to send my adhaar card I sent. I asked them is it ok cause I’m underage. So, they said to send my mother’s adhaar card I sent it without my mom’s knowledge. After that they sent the terms they didn’t even gave me time to read the contract and said to hurry cause they had a time limit and after that they said out of 1000 forms if 100 are wrong they will charge me Rs 3400. I accepted it and they said to sign a contract and asked me to send them my pic as a form of sign. In 10 days I had to fill 1000 forms. I wasted 10hrs those 10 days and after I submitted my work I couldn’t see the final report, it said access denied and today in the morning they contacted me and said I made mistakes in more then 100 forms. And threatened me to pay Rs 3400 within the next 1hr if not after this time limit I have to pay Rs 15,000-Rs 20,000. Honestly, I was scared I’m a highschool student I don’t have the money to pay them back. Then I asked my brother for help he explained it was a scam or else I would have been depressed.
