Through an online job portal named-Quikr, a company named Helium Services took my contact information and called me to tell that I have been selected for an online data entry filling job. The company asked me to sign a contract online which stated that I will have to fill 410 forms with 90% accuracy within four days, which I did. I completed the work, before the given time. The company sent me a QC report after three days that 49 forms were found with faulty entries, but as this is my first assignment and my performance is very good, they can help me correct the forms from their correction panel. To access their correction panel, I will have to pay an amount of Rs. 19950 on UPI id- helium@boi which will be refundable with my salary of Rs15,990/- which shall be processed between 30 mins of making the payment for correction panel. I paid that amount , the transaction bears UPI transaction ID- 115814195702. Fifteen minutes later, they called to tell that it was an international assignment and the Royal Bank of Scotland needs to be paid a refundable amount of Rs.24,880/- to process foreign exchange; I paid that amount as well, the transaction bears UPI transaction ID: 115815685120 on the same UPI ID – helium@boi (which opens in name of Mohit). Once I complete this payment, a total of Rs. 60,820/- shall be paid to me within 15 mins.
However, none of that came true. I began receiving threat calls and emails, for breach of contract and to be presented in court if I do not pay Rs.33,860/- to obtain NOC. The calls were made by a person who presented himself to be Advocate Abhay Singh and called from the number +91 8140011360. After that, a person named Advocate Akash Mohapatra called from the number +91 8511277829 and emailed from an email id: districtcourt7374@gmail.com and claimed to be from district court of Jamnagar and demanded a payment of Rs. 47, 980/-.
I denied the payment so they have been threatening me to get arrested and have refunded my money also.
