Recently I got a message that I have been selected for a job. I contacted the person for the application and he asked me to send all the details like Resume, Aadhaar Card , Photo and Bank Account no. I sent all the details except my bank account no. I told that Bank Account no is a very important thing and that I need to know about the organisation and any proof of work. They told me that it is a SMS sending job and that I have to send 100 sms a day and they will transfer Rs 75000 for buying laptop and phone and my salary will be Rs 22000. It looked completely fake to me as it has auto-generated reviews and no proof of work. I refused to send any bank details and stop engaging with them. After that they kept on calling me until yesterday, they told that it’s a govt registered and there’s nothing to worry about. I got convinced and sent them my Paytm QR code instead of my bank account number to be safe. After that, I got a message that a Transaction of Rs 75000 has not been successful, I immediately sent them the message on WhatsApp and they started charging a sum of Rs 1560 as a transfer charge for the money(Rs 75000) to get transferred to my bank account. I refused to pay any money as I suspected it is fake. They started threatening me of police case and used abusive language and also asked for registration fees of Rs 2000 which they have never mentioned before. And they told if I don’t do so, they will take legal action against me. Please suggest me what should I do at this moment??????
