I was contacted through WhatsApp by an unknown person who offered me an investment opportunity in Bitcoin. He told me that I need to invest ₹2,000 initially and assured me of high returns in a short period of time.
Based on his instructions, I paid ₹2,000 as an investment amount. After receiving the money, he started demanding additional payment, stating that I need to pay GST charges to process the Bitcoin investment and release my profits.
He also shared a bill/invoice claiming it to be for GST payment. However, the bill does not contain a valid GST number and appears to be fake. I strongly believe that the demand for GST payment is fraudulent and intended to cheat me of more money.
No Bitcoin investment or profit has been credited to me, and the person keeps creating new reasons to demand more money. This appears to be a clear case of online investment fraud and cheating through false promises and fake documents.
I request the authorities to kindly investigate this matter and take appropriate legal action. I am ready to provide WhatsApp chat screenshots, transaction details, payment proof, and the fake bill shared by the fraudster.
He is sharing an adhar card also which seems fake
