This is regarding my airtel broadban number 080 41654538. Airtel has been giving me issues with my ECS clearance for over 6 to 8 months now. It has become a huge ordeal for me and due to their lapses and delays my payments get accumulated for months together and I get mails for Disconnections for no fault of mine. I am also paying later payment charges for no fault of mine!
Here is the problem. I am a airtel subscriber for over 10-15 years now and been having normal ECS mode for payment for all these years. Suddenly about 7-8 months back the ECS clearance stopped. When I contacted airtel they said it was an issue with my bank. I went to the bank and they sorted out things at their end. Then I went to airtel and asked me to submit a fresh ECS request. This was in November 2018. After 4 months again I realized that ECS was not activated. I went to airtel office again in Feb 2019. They said there was some issue at their end and asked me to resubmit a fresh ECS request and fill the form again since some RBI guidelines had changed. I duly complied and filled the form again! Now again the same problem repeats. Again after 4 months my payment gets accumulated and I get a disconnection mail. I realized that the ECS is still not activated. I go again to airtel office and they tell me that the person who took the form probably did not submit the form at all. Now at their request I have resubmitted the form all over again for the 4th time on 25 June 2019. I was told by the person who took the form that within 48 hours I will get a SMS saying that the form is submitted and is under process. It was been 8 days now and I have still NOT received the SMS nor the ECS is activated.
It has been a harrowing experience with Airtel and they just dont seem to resolve or are sensitive about this ongloing issue. Their callous and unprofessional attitude is costing me time, energy and money to get this sorted out. I am paying late payment charges for over 6 to 8 months now for no fault of time. Please look into this help me.
I had submitted the ECS request forms at the main Airtel office in Bannerghatta road Bangalore. The name of the person is Zameer to who I had submitted the form 8 days back. I have attached an image of the form I had submitted.
