Text of Complaint by Gautam kumar Tripathi:

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the handling of my OLA Electric scooter booking, as detailed below:

I had eagerly booked an OLA Electric scooter model S1 Pro on the aforementioned booking date. On the same day, I completed the payment by taking loan from the bank and submitted all the required documents, which were promptly verified. I duly provided all the necessary information as per the requirements.

To my disappointment, it has come to my attention that my scooter has not been delivered as promised, even after the scheduled delivery date of 22th May 2023. Moreover, I have been informed by OLA that I am now required to pay an additional amount of Rs. 15,000 due to a decrease in the fame II subsidy implemented by the government, effective from 1st June 2023.

I fail to comprehend the reasoning behind this request for extra payment. The subsidy reduction is applicable from 1st June 2023, whereas my scooter was supposed to be delivered by 22nd May 2023, well before the subsidy change took effect. It is unreasonable and unjust to burden me with additional charges that were not part of the initial agreement.
Twice i received mail of completed document verification. And without intimating change of delivery date to 25th May 2023.

I have attached screenshots of our conversations and the booking details for your reference, which clearly show the agreed-upon terms and the promised delivery date.

I kindly request your immediate intervention in this matter and a prompt resolution to rectify the situation. I expect a fair and satisfactory solution, which may include honoring the original terms of the booking without any additional charges, as initially agreed upon.

I trust that OLA Electric, being a reputable company, values customer satisfaction and will take immediate steps to address this issue. I would appreciate your urgent attention to this matter and a response within a reasonable timeframe.

Thank you for your prompt assistance. I look forward to a swift resolution and the delivery of my booked OLA Electric scooter as per our original agreement. If no, please refund my money and compensate for the inconvenience caused. I am going to the consumer courts and social media until this issue is not resolved.
