I am Manjit Singh on the behalf of my mother Shmt. Paramjit Kaur who is current consumer of PSPCL rayya division with old temporary account no. 3007500479.
I applied for permanent connection on 26/02/2021 and requested PSPCL rayya to terminate our temporary meter as we have cleared all pendencies. We also paid securities and compiled required formalities set as per PSPCL.
Issue no. 1:
During the application of permanent connection it is mandatory to terminate temporary connection. As I applied for new permanent connection then why PSPCL rayya hasn’t terminated the temporary connection with immediate effect? After ten months of our permanent connection PSPCL issued a bill for temporary connection Rs/- 7240 but we didn’t care we paid the due bill that shouldn’t be at our side. It was the PSPCLs mistake but I paid Rs/- 7240 for nothing just to save my social image.
Issue no. 2:
From 26/2/21 to till the date we haven’t received any electricity bill as yet. We asked in early stages of 2021, that we used to receive electricity bills through emails or mobile messages. There was no reply in early 2021.
Issue no. 3:
Dated 31/07/23 I visited PSPCL Rayya and asked to Consumer clerk Mr. Pawan that I need to provide our electricity bill as proof of utility and proof of address to set up a current bank account. As I am going to start a business, I borrowed 76 lacs from the market. For this I need to get the residential details and I aduced our bill (52606241920) as proof that the name of my mother and full details are required to be printed on the electricity bill. I and the consumer clerk wasted 5 hours to trace the new account in their records. We went through each file/folder computer excel sheets/ manual registers. Next day on 1/08/2023 We decided to check the supply through the electricity meter allotted to us through permanent connection. We traced out the meter, and from the meter we were able to obtain our record in all their manuals and find that all details that were provided by us during permanent connection were quite right.
Issue no. 4:
Now, I retrieved the new account number of the electricity meter on my mothers name i.e.3007588668 and I found that details on the provided account did not match with our details and the bill was not delivered on time. I raised the issue on the table of S.D.O PSPCL Rayya that please correct the details as we need to provide this bill as a utility proof. But to secure his neck and vanquish his official mistakes he is constantly forcing me to pay a bill Rs/- 220000 in one deck.
Issue no. 5:
I urge them to please correct my details. I will pay it as I am not able to pay right now . If I may not be able to provide the requested bill with requested correction as proof. I will be in the loss 76Lcs in just a few days. But an arrogant S.D.O stuck on the same point and he rejected me to aduce my side at his table.
Issue no. 6
03/08/23 today I visited PSPCL rayya around 9am and requested the consumer clerk Mr. pawan through complaint that please provide me in written that PSPCL rayya will not correct my details and also provide me the xerox copies of my permanent and temporary connection files with all details. I have been refused by the Consumer clerk that they will not accept my complaint and can not provide any requested information.
Issue no.7 :
During the conversation with Mr. Pawan the most stupid person of your PSPCL division rayya namely Asish Kumar who has the post of R.A . I have never seen such a person like him, who has no sense of how to behave with consumers. I politely stopped R.A not to interfere in this matter. If I need to ask, I will come to you and ask accordingly. With full of arrogance he started shouting at me and started abusing me . We are trickers who use to play tricks to escape from bill pendencies and people like us are always willing to seek remedy to prevent bill payments. I wanted to ask him through you before this bill who paid our bills either he or someone his relative. I highly request that PSPCL scale him through an official investigation. Otherwise I will file a case against him.
Issue no. 8:
As this matter is highly raised in PSPCL Division rayya. The officials of PSPCL rayya started threatening me by all means. They also threaten me that If I didn’t paid this bill they will put this connection in the default list and terminate the supply. I wanted to know from 2021-2023 two years why this meter has not been assigned as a default meter.
Just to secure their necks and skins for this mistake they threaten me and force me to pay the bill without highlighting this matter and asked me to deposit bank cheque (For what?).
I urge the PSPCL to take necessary action with immediate effect and investigate the entire matter. Kindly take strict action against the involved persons including S.D.O and R.A of PSPCL Rayya. If they forcefully terminate my current supply before any result of PSPCL investigation and remedy, kindly take strict notice of 420 under consumer and criminal act.
I am bearing huge loss I urge you to please correct our electricity details as we requested and provide us with immediate effect and please arrange the investigation for the highlighted matter raised by me before it getting too late. As I am under the shadow of loss of Rs/- 76lcs If I threblled it in any way in next 48 hours I will approach to consumer court and jurisdiction as well.
This is just a rash complaint during the investigation. I will put some more details and satisfied details in proper manner to expose their mistakes.
