Text of Complaint by Rukhayya Batool:

Got call from so called nykaa sales and marketing department, some lady probably not real, called telling me I got selected in lucky draw.
She asked me to add products to my cart worth 5k, and not completing the order, rather take screenshots and send it to their business account +918481088492. Whole payment to be made through upi. No cash, no debit or credit cards.
But once you pay them , then the drama starts.
This lady says we have done paperwork,which they won’t share with you. We have placed your order, but there is some problem only with your prize gift. So, we will connect you with our finance expert or something likewise. They are saying your name doesn’t matche so government is asking you to pay cgst and insurance money which will revert back to your account within 10 to 20 secs
Cgst charges are 11,999.9inr and insurance 5000. No other people faced similar problem, ONLY IN YOUR CASE WE ARE FACING SUCH PROBLEM
Which accounts to sixteen thousand nine ninety nine point nine paisa
So, I stupidly paid 16,999.90 to Federal Bank Ltdccs Hyderabad
At this point I thought it was enough, and these people are here to dupe me
Just want everyone to be aware not to be misguided
Even reputed banks like #sbi, #dbs are having their accounts.
I lost 5 to #nykaa
No response from their team.
No orders.
I totally feel their employees are divulging details of the customer to the scammers.
