Received a text that HR team at NYCLinked,com reviewed my resume and invite me to attend an in-person interview. The Manager is avail tomo from 12p-2p, it said please reply with your preferred time. and provide your email address and will respond with details. I responded for next day at 1:30pm. They sent follow up reminders and one thing that was a red flag was their website was a Security Threat from both my cell and PC. It warned me DO nOT visit this site. I did not and mentioned it next day in the unusual short interview of less than 10 mins. They asked for hard copy of job resume, and talked about the kind of “job campaign’ it could be. IE: ATT, etc. I also questioned what he meant by job “campaign” and what he meant by a “shadow day”. Also the lobby they played music to try and lure the job searcher to let their guard down. He said after the next “Shadow Day” you would have a job in 24-48 hours. If you go to your search engine and enter “331 West 39th Street job scam” it comes up with Empire, tho now they are called NYCLinked. Luckily I called my friend afterward and explained the unusual short details and she says were they playing loud music and was it a MLM that said you work on commission? the loud music, yes, but I thank goodness did not get into next week
