I have been using the airtel one connection for the past 3-4 months now. I got my wife’s number (9811138557) also ported from Vodafone to airtel.
Her number has been barred from making calls from today onwards. I called customer care and have they say i have outstanding bill with my previous service provider and they cant provide any information regarding this.
As per my understanding any number cannot be ported to another service provider if there is any bill outstanding. But the CS agent was not ready to acknowledge this fact and kept on repeating to contact the previous service provider.
Now when i try to contact Vodafone for bill payment they say its not a Vodafone number. My wife needed to make some important calls today and is unable to do so because of this issue.
I am extremely dissatisfied with your level of service and now regret converting all my numbers into the airtel one connection.
I want a resolution immediately and also please train your CS people to atleast guide their customers is the right direction rather than being rigid.
