On 10/Feb/2022 I had booked a ticket from Bangalore to Srinagar from Travolook. The amount I paid for the air ticket was Rs. 6190.
While booking the flight ticket, the booking status was showing processing please do not tab on the back button. I waited for 5 minutes but there was no response. As I had made the payment I was scared that my ticket would not be booked.
I was informed via mail that the ticket was in processing and that I must wait for 30 minutes. After waiting for 35 minutes, a mail notified me that my reservation was “canceled due to an operational reason” and that’s why a refund will be provided post “10-15 working days. I was shocked I did not get the flight booking confirmation and my ticket was canceled.
I decided to contact the customer care team of Travolook and clear my issue with them. I dialed their number 0124-643-4800, after calling twice the executive picked up my call and asked about my concern. I shared my issue and asked why my ticket got canceled even though I did not get the ticket confirmation message? When will I get my refund and what is the process?
The executive replied to me that sir due to an operational issue, the booking was canceled. It was a server error and sorry for your inconvenience. We will shortly initiate your refund. I said ok, In how much time will I get the refund? The executive replied that sir it will take 10-15 working days which means Saturday, Sunday, and gazetted holidays are excluded.
Still, I did not receive my refund .
