I’m Kunal Pramanick, writing about a distressing flight booking issue via Happyfares with SpiceJet Airlines for a Mumbai to Kolkata flight on December 24th.On December 4th, the flight got canceled due to operational reasons. Happyfares confirmed this from the airline’s portal, but our portal didn’t reflect it said happyfare. On December 9th, they hinted at a delay in updating, asking us to wait.Emails ensued, and on December 12th, Happyfares mentioned a refund request to the airline, citing a 7-day wait. After this, they claimed no refund from the airline. Their responses have been evasive, urging patience despite our pleas for resolution.Another ticket via Flights Mojo was refunded in three days for the same flight. Happyfares failed to refund, promising but delaying, with unclear reasons.Additionally, Happyfares plans to deduct Rs500 citing policies. I expressed dismay but got policy reiterations without addressing the issue.I contacted SpiceJet on December 16th, discovering Happyfares hadn’t initiated a refund.I seek your intervention to expedite resolution. This process disparity and Happyfares’ reluctance caused us stress and financial strain.Your immediate attention for the owed refund is crucial. Without it, Happyfares might withhold our rightful refund.Thank you for your concern. A swift resolution is earnestly hoped for.
