Hi, I ordered a Milton flask on 8th December 2020 from amazon. I had chosen COD. I received the product on 10th Dec 2020. I payed the bill amount of Rs 834 through Paytm. And after opening the package, I saw the product was damaged. There was a big dent on the flask. I couldn’t place a return request immediately as the the status was not updated as delivered. It was still showing as out for delivery. After calling customer service, I was asked to wait till the status was updated to delivered. After 2 days it was marked as delivered. I immediately placed a return request, stating the reason. The product was picked up a couple of days later. Amazon delivery guy came and picked the product. The same day, another person from amazon, came to take the product. We informed him that we have already returned it few hours ago to another delivery agent. After he left, I got a message that the pick up was cancelled. This was a miscommunication among amazon . I called customer service and narrated the incident and I was assured that, the refund will be processed.. I waited for a few days but no refund was processed. I called up customer service again and they checked the status. They said the refund was still showing pending so they asked me to wait for 5 business days for it to be cleared. I waited for 5 business days but nothing happened.. I called customer service again on 24th Dec and I was told to wait for another day. I was assured a callback the next day with an update but no one called me. Then, on 26th Dec 2020, I called customer service again and I was told the product never reached me and hence it was cancelled. I had to narrate the whole incident again. I was asked to send the sceenshot of the amount paid to the delivery agent to cs-reply@amazon.in. I did that but I didn’t receive any help. I was told to call customer service. I then again called back customer service and I was again told that the payment is not settled with amazon so I have to wait for another 3-5 business days and they refused to help me any further. This is sheer harassment to the customer due to miscommunication amongst amazon employees. It’s a request, please help me get my refund. I am attaching a screenshot of the amount paid during delivery
