Text of Complaint by Dileep:

I had booked a tour package to Manali (Chandigarh airport pickup – manali- delhi- Agra- delhi airport drop) through Online Trip Global found through Google search. Tour days (05 Dec 22 to 11 Dec 22).
I was given quotation for Rs. 55000/- (Proof attached as Annexure1)
I made advance payment of Rs, 27500/- on 24 Jul 22. (proof attached as annexure 2).
Remaining payment of Rs. 27500/- was made on 08 Aug 22 (Proof attached as annexure 3A & 3B).
On 11 Nov 22, I was told to pay the GST charges of Rs. 9990/- which I had done on 12 Nov 22. (Proof attached as Annexure 4).
On 02 Dec 22, I was told to Pay Rs. 20000/- extra apart from the amount quoted in the quotation stating that the prices had changed. At the last moment, I had no other choice except paying them as I Promised to take my family members for the trip and every one were prepared for it. Hence I had made the payment of Rs. 10000/- on 03 Dec 22 and remaining 10000/- on 05 Dec 22 ( Proof attached as annexure 5 & 6).
The service provided by them was very poor. Driver denied taking us to all the places as mentioned in the quotation saying “I was paid very less. I cannot bare taking you to all those places”. 5th night of stay was in Agra (on 10 Dec 22). When we reached hotel, we were denied check in. The Manager told that the room was booked through Fab & goibibo. They had cancelled the tie up contract with Fab months ago. I spoke to the tour agency Mr. Sandeep promised me that he will take care of the payment at the time of check out discussing with Goibibo and told me to check in.

In the meanwhile, I got call from Goibibo customer care. They told me to pay from my pocket and they will refund the paid amount of Rs. 5075/- to the tour agency (as payment for the room booking was made through HDFC card of tour agency) and I can get refund from the tour agency.

Since 11 Dec 22, I have been continuously calling customer care of the tour agency. They are not responding properly. Every time, I have been told to call the other day as they didn’t get any response from goibibo.

Neither I got my refund nor GST bill for the paid amount. In other words, neither they paid the GST nor they have plans to refund me.
