Text of Complaint by Ghanalingamurthy:

I have raised the service request with airtel support team on 13th Oct 2020 to deactivate the Airtel 4G sim since its not providing the expected internet speed in Airtel dongle device. A lot of network latency caused disconnected internet issue. They took 10 days but still didn’t resolve the issue.

Rejesh from airtel team confirmed that the deactivation request has been initiated and provided the service request number SR31-3452626228649. he motioned that the services are expected to be restricted by 26-10-2020. Monthly rental on the services will not be charged with effect from 18th-Oct-2020 and will be charged prorated rental till 18-10-2020 (today).

I paid the bill amount of 490.67 to Airtel on Oct 30th 2020 even though the rental charges has been enforced till 25-10-2020 instead of 18th Oct 2020 as per the service request number SR31-3452626228649.
Now another person fromĀ  airtel support team is initiating another service deactivation request once more time and expect me to pay for the pro-rated rental being charged in next bill dated 27-11-2020.
Its fault from airtel support team as they did not deactivate the SIM in last month(Oct) bill cycle. How come they can expect me to pay for next bill cycle due to their negligence ?
