Somewhere in jun july my prepaid card stopped making calls. It allowed incoming calls. I went to the nearby store and they said it was old card so changed it swiftly. It did not fix the problem. I went to other store , they could not fix it either. They said it was my chinese handset to blame. although I was using the same handset before the problem occured.. I tried some other handset, the card worked. Surprisingly , some other Airtel prepaid sim worked in my chinese Umidigi S3pro handset as well..!. I got fed up and went to store again. They changed my sim again, no relief. Then there was a guy who checked online and said that calls were barred from my number for some reason and promised that it would be sorted soon. NOTHING happened.
Airtel has designed their app very cunningly. You cant speak to a real person ever. So they remain in a blissful state that everything is hunky dory. !
I wrote a complaint in some other forum before. I am frustrated that there is NO such thing as customer satisfaction and Airtel is just pushing its luck to get as much with an untrained staff and naive customers.
There are no numbers where we can directly speak to a person. My query is unsolved. My recharge of Rs 349 is complete waste , and I am not is a mood to waste more time with there nearest shop where they cant fix my problem. I am thus moving away to some other provider. I would be happy if my settings are restored to the time when everything was working fine on the same handset. I also want my recharge again . thanks and regards
