In september 2018, I loaned INR 75,000 to a Mr. Rangaiah Puranik of Bengaluru as cash flow for his business. He promised to return the money in three months and also pay a monthly interest of INR 1500. A cheque was provided as security for the loan amount.
Puranik paid interest until February 2019 requesting extension of the repayment period by a few months. I agreed. When no further interest or repayment was forthcoming, I deposited his security cheque but it bounced for lack of funds;
After February 2019, he has occasionally sent a Whatsapp message mentioning difficulties of all sorts and that too has stopped for the past year or so;
A copy of the bounced cheque and the bank communication are attached.
