I had raised a complaint with Airtel (ticket number: 31-4849258765955) since my calls were not going through for incoming and outgoing call. It only goes blank with no response at all. I was told by Airtel customer service rep on the call that I will get a call back within 48 hours. After that I have followed up multiple times and also spoke to a senior supervisor named Fardeen Firdous who gave a guarantee that he would personally look into the issue and solve it in 7 days. It has been 31 days now without a resolution. During this time, the compliant that was registered was closed twice stating that the complaint was successfully resolved and I called customer care back again to reopen it. The second time they declined to reopen that ticket and instead raised a new ticket with an updated date so that the earlier ticket doesn’t show up in their systems as a pending ticket. When I spoke to customer care on it, they mentioned that this is their process and if this is Airtel’s process to close unresolved complaint and open new complaints which will be again closed as resolved with actual resolution, it tantamounts to cheating the customer.
