I have on 11 May 2019 made an attempt to book a railway ticket through Paytm connected to my bank account. Paytm Order No. is 100001827802099. An amount of 2,491.83 has been debited to my bank account but not paid to railway wallet. As a result, my ticket was not booked by railway. When I inquired with railway, they confirmed that they have not received money.
When I lost money from my bank account, I filed a complaint with bank to inquire about it. After 45 days time limit bank confirmed that the money is with Paytm and that they have credited it in my Paytm account.
Subsequently I made correspondence with Paytm through their mobile app. I received their remark saying that they have refunded it by credit to my Paytm account. But in actual, I have not received this money credited to my Paytm wallet or to my bank account.
I sent Paytm my 3 months wallet statement to prove that they have not credited the amount into my wallet. However, they repeated the statement that they have refunded the money and closed my account.
I asked Paytm the transaction reference through which they have refunded the money but there was no response.
For me, this matter is still open as I have not received the refund from Paytm.
I request Paytm to settle this matter by refunding the amount.
