Today, i.e. on 01.11.2018, I recharged my airtel mobile no. 9563632225 with Rs. 199 mistakenly while trying to recharge my airtel dth no. 3024847472 through my airtel app. After realising my mistake, I tried many times to get it corrected but failed. Finally, I contacted a Customer Service Official of airtel vide their helpline no. 198 and as expected, he stated his inability to provide me any assistance in getting the money refunded or diverted to the intended dth no. Rather, the said executive gave the line to a senior official namely Basudeb, Supervisor, who was also stated his inability to help in this regard and advised me to be careful in future while recharging.
Now, I want the airtel authorities to kindly let me know that in case of a customer committing a mistake unintentionally in recharging a number why he can not be provided with a chance to rectify his mistake. Whereas, there is scope of correction for the retailers doing easy recharge.
I am not wanting the amount to be refunded. I just want the amount to be diverted to my dth no.
Please take effective steps to provide me justice in this case.
