Text of Complaint by Raghavendar RaviKumar:

This is Raghavendar RaviKumar. I booked an Indigo flight 6E – 7994 on 21st February 2020 for travelling on April 3rd 2020.

PNR no booked on Indigo – the airline PNR number is UKNZWW.

Booking reference number /  ID from via is FMNAA3AVWDFPI.

Upon contacting indigo in September 2020, they informed me that they have initiated the refund process on August 11st 2020. So the money was sent to via.

I sent an email to via to ask for an update on the refund on 25th October.

I got an update on 1st November that via had cancelled the ticket the refund has been initiated and bank has been notified. In their words as on November 1st 2020 –

“This is to inform you that via.com has initiated a refund for order number FMNAA3AVWDFPI_1582282684345 towards your transaction on via.com. This refund request has been forwarded to concerned bank and we await their reply. Rest assured the amount would reflect in your account as per the bank’s procedure”.
There is no response till date. The bank says that via should refund the amount using the same payment channel that I paid with. After repeated e-mails, via has not responded.
Please support in whatever way you can to ensure people’s hard earned money get back to them.
