Dear Sir/ Madam,
I have confirmed flight tickets PNR-JMFC4 purchased from Easemytrip website from ATQ to CCU on 27 Mar 2022 v/by AI-726. My parents completed the scheduled web check-in and on arrival at Amritsar Airport was told by the staff that the flight has been cancelled. A document was issued on behalf of Air India which I have attached as scanned copy.
The cancellation on account of Air India should be fully refundable as per the rules. However the Easemytrip website has allowed a refund of Rs 101/- and 51/- which defies any rationality. The cancellation was on behalf of the Airline Air India and the customer is made scapegoat for the same.
Last 4 months the agencies are pointing each other and no refund has been initiated till date. Besides the harassment of the elderly clientele facing such embarrassing situation reflects poorly on the airline services and inept cancellation and refund system. The above case is ideal grievance for suitable compensation.
