Text of Complaint by Shubhanshu Kamatnurkar:

An item was purchased on Amazon vide Order No 403-7221370-2593967 on 02 Sep 2020 for an amount of Rs 1995/-.  The item was delivered on 07 Sep 2020, however since the item was defective it was returned on 15 Sep 2020 to Amazon Agent Rahul. Another item was also returned on the same day to Rahul. However, no refund was initiated for the above order No. When Amazon was repeatedly contacted for the refund, they denied having received the item and kept falsely assuring that refund is being initiated. On 14 November, when asked to be put through to a senior executive, a person named Mohammed reportedly spoke to the undersigned in am extremely arrogant and unprofessional way, displaying utter disregard to the customer’s concern.

Another item purchased on 04 Nov 2020 for Rs 690/- vide Order No 405-8990195-3157944. The item was to be delivered by 10 Nov 2020, however, the item has not been delivered and refund of only Rs 560/- has been initiated on 11 Nov 2020 without any intimation to the undersigned.

The above instances show poor professional approach on part of Amazon, particularly the Amazon Agent Rahul and Mohammad and have resulted in undue mental trauma in settling a dispute which is created by Amazon itself.

It is requested that action be initiated against Rahul and Mohammad and necessary refund be initiated for item which has returned.
