Text of Complaint by Priyadarshini Puri:

I placed an order of a mobile phone with Amazon on 12th May for Rs 15,000. The order was not delivered but was marked as delivered to me. I called their customer care the same day and informed about the same. They assured me that I will get the product and they will pay my money back in the other case. However, after repeated calls for more than 15 times, they said that they cannot provide the product as it has already been delivered. They didnot provide any evidence to me of the delivery and simply refused to help. Further, the delivery agent visited my place that I had raised a request and I said yes because I never got the product. He said that please dont raise complaints against the order and I will pay you back in instalments. I refused and expected Amazon to sort it out but it never got sorted. They literally didnot take any action. This was confirmed by them around 31st May.

Further, I stopped placing orders with Amazon because of their terrible service. However, I had another old order already with them on 20th May  for a book set called Changing India for 10399. I didnot receive that either, and they changed the status to delivered again and refused delivery. I again called multiple times and I’m shocked with the way they have handled the situation. I would like a refund and an explanation as to why did this happen and how are they going to make sure that other people in india dont face the same problem.
