On 13th of Feb 2021, I was tracking my amazon parcel which was to be delivered to my address no shrewsbury. The package was estimated to be delivered between 2-4:30pm then got moved back up till 6pm then back again delivery estimated before 10pm.
I tracked the package using amazon tracker on there website and saw that it was in my area 6 stops away….then tracker changed to saying ” driver has more deliveries before my stop” that’s when estimated time changed to 10pm.
I kept on with tracker and followed where the stops were going again around my local area. When tracker updated to stops again it showed 8 stops until delivery and at that point the driver was 10mins away from my address ( I know this as I run a lot and know the area).
It got to 2 stops away so I walked up to gate of the gated area where I live this was at 7:50pm, the tracker then showed 1 stop away about 5 mins I knew where the van was on the map. The tracker went cloudy and stopped returning with message saying ” package is running late it could still arrive by time”. During the time I had walked up to gate and notice on tracker 25 mins had passed ish. That’s when I used amazon customer service…all other details are with amazon India complaints department. Calls between 8:40pm and 10:30pm.
I have had my call not answered when waiting on hold with customer service it got cut of after 12 mins on hold.
The fact the driver was 5 minutes out and they were already heading back to Stoke before estimated drop of time was up is not acceptable.
Something needs to be done.
